SAN DIEGO, CA (September 15, 2020) – The law firm of McLaughlin & Sanchez recently announced their new name to reflect a new partnership handling California workers’ compensation cases primarily in San Diego and Southern California with select cases throughout California.
Since 2012, the firm has been known as the Law Office of Robert A. McLaughlin. Attorney Denise LaVerde Sanchez joined as an associate attorney in 2014 and was recently made a partner.
“This opens an exciting new chapter for our firm,” said attorney Robert A. McLaughlin. “Denise Sanchez is an outstanding lawyer who has helped so many of our clients and has played a leading role in the growth of our practice.”
In addition to California workers’ compensation, the firm handles California cases involving employment law, wage and hour law, SSDI and personal injury claims. The firm also handles Longshore Act, Defense Base Act, BS Non-Appropriated Funds Act cases throughout the country.

Attorney McLaughlin is a graduate of the San Diego School of Law, has been practicing in California since 1990 and was 2017 California Applicant Attorney of the Year. Attorney Sanchez is a graduate of Southwestern University School of Law, has been practicing in California since 2000 and is a State Bar Certified Legal Specialist in workers’ compensation.
